First Installation: January 2023 – 2024
During COVID, St. Leonard’s Boys’ School removed and discarded their old, traditional water fountains, branding them “inefficient”. This left a dire need at the school for a safe water source. Thanks to Calvin Alkins a new water station was installed for 1 year and reached over 28,000 bottle fills.
At the end of November 2025, the call for a new water station was answered by the collaboration between The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and the Barbados Diabetes Foundation.
Students were elated to once more have access to free-chilled water!
