Installed September 2025
Daryll Jordan Secondary School became the second recipient of the impressive undertaking by the Barbados arm of The Church of Jesus Christ & Latter-Day Saints, in collaboration with The Barbados Diabetes Foundation.
In a move aimed at promoting healthy hydration, this collaboration will see thirteen (13) secondary schools in Barbados get a free-to-use chilled water station.
The station was unveiled after a lively morning assembly, where students listened attentively as officials underscored the importance of the initiative.
The principal, Mr. Ken Layne expressed his gratitude for the station as it aligns perfectly with the Ministry of Educational Tranformation’s School Nutritional Policy, and the students will benefit greatly from this necessary resource being so readily available to them.
