The Grantley Adams Memorial School got their very own Hydration Station compliments the Barbados arm of The Church of Jesus Christ & Latter-Day Saints, in collaboration with The Barbados Diabetes Foundation.
The energy of the school was truly felt by sponsor representatives and our team, as we were serenaded by teaching staff as well as students, in an assembly that was specifically catered to the unveiling of the station . This level of care and attention represented Grantley Adams Memorial’s intention to truly take care of the station.
The presence of the Chairman of the Board, also emphasized the commitment of the officials of Grantley Adams Memorial School to better education and to reshape the narrative usually associated with the school.
In a move aimed at promoting healthy hydration in our Barbadian students, this collaboration will see thirteen (13) secondary schools in Barbados get a free-to-use chilled water station.
