Hilda Skeene Primary School

With the parish of St. Philip constantly developing, Hilda Skeene was the result of an amalgamation of two schools to accommodate the increasing number of children residing there. This additional hydration station ensures the growing complement of students and staff are adequately hydrated throughout the day. Marshall trading representatives, who describe their company as a community and family brand, were eager to support the Hydrate Programme, which allows them to partner with a venture which improves the lives and well-being of Barbadians. The timely installation was spearheaded to provide the best possible conditions within which students and staff could focus, learn/teach and thrive in. The main goal was to contribute to the overall growth and continued success of the school and its students, which has seen a number of outstanding Barbadians graduating from behind its doors, including cricketer Jofra Archer, and Olympian Akeela Jones.
