Installed October 2025
The Princess Margaret Secondary School got their very own Hydration Station compliments the Barbados arm of The Church of Jesus Christ & Latter-Day Saints, in collaboration with The Barbados Diabetes Foundation.
In a move aimed at promoting healthy hydration in our Barbadian students, this collaboration will see thirteen (13) secondary schools in Barbados get a free-to-use chilled water station.
PMSS students listened attentively as representatives explained to them how to use the station and that it’s now up to them to make the best decisions for their health. Dealing with limited access to water, and broken down fountains is a thing of the past for students of The Princess Margaret Secondary School – this free-to-use chilled water station means that students no longer have to purchase water or worse, a sugar filled beverage, to quench their thirst.
Students, teachers and staff are benefitting daily from this water station, and in just over a week the station recorded over 4000 (500 ml) bottle fills!
