The Alleyne School was proud to be the first school to be blessed with a Hydration Station compliments the Barbados arm of The Church of Jesus Christ & Latter-Day Saints, in collaboration with The Barbados Diabetes Foundation.
In a move aimed at promoting healthy hydration, this collaboration will see thirteen (13) secondary schools in Barbados get a free-to-use chilled water station.
The station was unveiled after a lively morning assembly, where students listened attentively and participated with enthusiasm as officials underscored the importance of the initiative.
The principal, Mr. Stephen Proverbs emphasized that the students were given a gift, access to free chilled water, that they could use at anytime to quench their thirst. He urged them to take care of it, so all could benefit from the station for a long time.
